all4dom 101 Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 I recently loaded the latest version of emby on my samsung q80c 65inch tv. Only issue i am having is the remote is unresponsive once I am playing an episode & i have to hold the back button to exit out completely. I did try to mention this after you guys fixed the guide issue. Thanks Dom
all4dom 101 Posted April 6, 2025 Author Posted April 6, 2025 (edited) @Luke thanks for responding, Luke. It's just once I log in, maybe after a few minutes. The bottens are aren't responsive and with the Samsung remote. I have to hold the back button to exit out of emby. I forgot to add even if I try and control enby with my phone. The samsung remote still unresponsive Edited April 6, 2025 by all4dom

I have to hold the back button to exit out of emby Assuming you are using a genuine Samsung remote and not a programmable or third party remote. So it stops working, even before you start watching? So even just logging in will cause it to stop working?
all4dom 101 Posted April 6, 2025 Author Posted April 6, 2025 I'm using the samsung remote that came with the tv.So yes, it's a genuine remote. And when I use the smart things app in my phone to control the tv that remote, it also doesn't work.I'm not sure why, but probably a minute or two after I log in envy. Once I start playing the episode, that's what it happens
all4dom 101 Posted April 6, 2025 Author Posted April 6, 2025 It's the latest version installed via USB stick. My tv is a samsung q80c 65 inch tv.
SamES 1056 Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 As you are the only one experiencing this, can uninstall it (from apps) don't just remove it from the home screen. Remove power from the TV for a few minutes (don't just turn it off) then reinstall and see if that resolves it?
