mKenfenheuer 0 Posted May 5, 2025 Posted May 5, 2025 Hi all, same problem here. Tried to reinstall the app, logged in locally and not via domain, forced transcoding by setting the max quality to 1080p- 5mbps in app settings. Nothing works, same error as above "No compatible streams found." The same files play via webbrowser just fine. Other files like Castle or Too Fast and Too Furious 2 also play fine on the app but Vaiana does not for example. ffmpeg-transcode-5dd898b7-20ff-45fa-88df-e1b3f45e482f_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-1539dbdd-dfe8-4775-9df2-d17481a2cda8_1.txt embyserver-63882016971.txt hardware_detection-63882016976.txt ffmpeg-transcode-88877dbf-cb94-4205-b734-edc248584007_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-3777c99c-0667-4721-931b-d3dc3aaee1fd_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-6d43872a-91ec-4514-ad21-d9e1e7d3dab4_1.txt embyserver-63882018294.txt embyserver-63882018267(1).txt embyserver-63882018498.txt
Mike_i386 1 Posted May 6, 2025 Posted May 6, 2025 Same Problem here since the newest iOS App. The Problem only appears when one episode ends and the next one automatically starts. When hitting the play next button, it works. Also when choosing the next episode manually. It doesn't matter if it's a new series or something I already watched without any problems. 1
pagep 1 Posted May 20, 2025 Posted May 20, 2025 Hi guys I just tried starting up Emby on MacOS and I can't play any HEVC file. Getting error "no compatibles streams available" ... I am not sure when this happened. It was working before. I have transcoding enabled on server / for the user and so on . Maybe it started after recent server update?
wsxws 8 Posted May 20, 2025 Author Posted May 20, 2025 as we did not receive any update since a bit more than a month im not really sure that we will ever know
Luke 42077 Posted May 22, 2025 Posted May 22, 2025 Hi, are you still seeing this with the latest update to Emby for iOS?
pagep 1 Posted May 22, 2025 Posted May 22, 2025 Hi I just checked my MacOS app and suddenly I can play the HEVC files My MacOS app is on Version 2.2.33 (29) and Linux based server on 4.8.11.0. I believe there were no update to the app or linux server made from my side, however my MacOS installed some updates I don't understand how this can be happening. Cheers
wsxws 8 Posted May 22, 2025 Author Posted May 22, 2025 (edited) Server 4.8.11.0 emby for IOS 2.2.39 still the same error, no HEVC files Edited May 22, 2025 by wsxws
