Im looking to eventually build a new server....probably sooner then later & am wondering is it best to put emby on a separate m2 drive by itself? My pc is strictly for media/emby & am looking at best practices before building it.

Thanks

Dom

Sorry I can't but @GrimReaperwould be more than happy to split this into its own topic. 😀

It doesn't really matter what drive it's on as long as the machine itself is dedicated to Emby. You're still going to be hardware limited in regards to access speeds, internet speeds and any transcoding. Just make sure the drive has a really large write life cycle, due to all the temp files that will be created.
