Android app fails with HEVC high level files on Nvidia Shield , only Android TV app uses transcoding correctly

Hi,

I have a movie file with the following attributes:
HEVC Main 10 Level 156

The Android TV app plays it perfectly while relying on server transcoding whereas the Android app tries to let the Shield handle it and the output is unwatchable choppy.
In the server log, when using the Android TV app, I can see that the video level is the reason for transcoding:

"2025-04-03 20:17:39.359 Info App: Profile: VideoCodecProfile, DirectPlay=false. Reason=Android-Exo.VideoLevel Condition: LessThanEqual. ConditionValue: 153. IsRequired: False. Path: \\DS420J\Video1\Filme\Star Wars Episode 5 Das Imperium schlägt zurück (1980) 4K80\03 Empire.Strikes.Back.4K80.2160p.UHD.no-DNR.35mm.x265-v1.0.mkv"
I suppose that the maximum level the Shield can handle ist 153, and somehow Emby knows it. In fact level 153 files do work fine.

Why do the apps behave differently?

I have attached the logs from both attempts, of course I only got a transcoding log from the one using the Android TV app.
