Emby 2.2.37 forces AUTO PLAY even when off in settings

Is anyone else experiencing this? Ever since the 2.2.37 update a couple of days ago, when playing TV shows, Emby auto plays the next episode even when the setting is set to OFF. I’ve tried turning the feature on and back off again but this doesn’t resolve it. It happens on all my devices: Apple TV, Mac (via the app and Safari browser), iPad and iPhone. Hi Luke. I don’t know exactly what you mean by “why exactly do you think it forces it.” This is the mystery and why I’m on this forum.

All I know is that despite AUTO PLAY being off in the settings, whenever I play any TV show, it auto plays the next episode and I cannot stop it from happening. I never ever want auto play on yet it auto plays each and every each time and it happens on all my devices. I have made no settings changes in a long time. It started with the latest 2.2.37 update earlier this week.

Hi.  Are you hitting the "Play" button from the TV Series page?

As stated above, every single time I play a TV show, the next episode auto plays regardless of the fact it’s set to OFF in the settings and I don’t hit the play next button. It’s infuriating as I never want the next episode to play unless I trigger it manually.

Hi EBR. I am pressing play from the episode page so no, not the TV series page which I know can trigger an entire series/season play.

On my homepage, I do what I’ve done for years: I hit the episode I want to watch and it plays and every other time, at the end of playing that episode, it stops and asks via a box in the corner if I want to watch the next episode. Since the latest update and only since then, it plays the next episode regardless.
