Hardware Transcoding with TOS 6

im currently looking for the right NAS model to buy and the TerraMaster F4-424 is my favorite so far. Ive come across several reports now which indicate that hardware transcoding is no longer working with the current OS version TOS 6, regarding Emby and also other software. The update has been out for a while now. Has anyone got it working with TOS6? If it is no longer possible ill have to opt for a Synology.

Im also not sure which download package would be the right one, you can choose "64-bit (TOS 5)" and "64-bit", but no package specifically for TOS6. Does that mean its not supported? Or is the "64-bit" package working across all OS versions?

Hi, you can use the tos5 package. We are looking into the hardware transcoding issue with tos6. Thanks
