Emby Windows hangs on startt

I launched the Windows Emby app and it was stuck on the splash screen. This happens almost every day the first time I start app.

There was a single Emby.Client.*.exe process

I just had a stuck splash for the first time and was okay on relaunch. Looking at the logs comparing the two app launches I guess it's stuck on loading DOM content but I'm not familiar with what it's actually trying to do that it gets hung up on since the operation otherwise completes very fast, would likely need some debugging enabled to know more.

The Emby windows app just hard locked on startup to a black screen showing a mouse cursor that would not move. The computer was completely unresponsive to Esc, Alt-Tab and Alt-Ctrl-Del

I had to shut it down by holding the power button.

Everyday or always after a restart of the machine?

Thanks. Is it the same behavior for you that it hangs on first launch and works on (all) subsequent launches?

Unfortunately I don't know, I don't use Windows much and that was the only time I've run into the stuck splash. If it occurs again I will try to find out though.

I don't know how to reproduce the startup hang. Normally I never restart the computer.

I just tried restarting it now and Emby started normally.
