OpenLibrary Request -> Multi-format (extension) books support

Hi OpenLibrary Team.

It's so common (at least for me) to have multiple versions of the same book/comic for different readers (.epub, .pdf, .mobi, etc)

As a result, in books view, books appear 3 (or more times):

Can we try to handle this by consolidating this in one single book, maybe with an specific icon () and when clicking on the book presenting a view to download the desired version ?

HI, book features are still in their infancy. I would imagine eventually it will get the same merging capabilities as movies.

More than merging (that we can discuss about all missing capabilities in merging and splitting in movies another day ...  ) My request goes that if you identify the same book more than one to be able to see it only once and with something (the mentioned icon) to reflect there's more than one version of it.

Emby Server 4.9.1.8+ will now have a book reader in the web app for the following formats:

• PDF
• EPUB
• MOBI
• FB2
• CBZ
• CBR

Please try it out once available and report your experience in the Testing Area of the community:

I can't get PDFs to show up. I tried to create a new library, with "Books" as the type, and I keep getting this error. Anyone know what might cause this? I can't get any PDFs to show up no matter what I try!

Hi, did you ensure the path is valid? What is the path?
