No connection

Hello, experiencing difficulty with a Pi4 running Libreelec. On starting Embycon, it finds the local Emby server, but consistently times out and reports no connection. Not sure why this is happening, as it was working before. Can't see anything in the Emby server logs, presumably due to lack of connection, but I would be grateful for any advice please.

I think @TeamBneeds a kodi.log for review including the issue.

a kodi log might help but this is more likely to be a network issue. when its having problems check the network info in the settings of kodi to see if you still have an active connection.

This is so frustrating. Tried Emby for Kodi Next Gen and just cannot sign in. When the pop up sign in window appears, I've tried the username and password and email address and password and neither works. I've tried putting in local server IP and external server IP, still nothing.

Then I tried uninstalling Emby for Kodi Next Gen and installing EmbyCon. The latter finds the local server but then ultimately provides a timeout error "Unable to connect to server."

UPNP support on Kodi doesn't always work either. Sometimes I can link libraries directly to the machine downstairs. Other times it's like they're not even there.

iPlayer WWW add-on seems to be working well, so connection seems reasonably good. Can't explain it.

If you wish, I can review the emby for kodi next gen side. Therefore I would need a kodi debug log including the connection issue. Please send me the debug log via PM and do NOT post it in public. Debug logs may include confidential data (access tokens) and should not be posted in public, regular logs are save to post in public.

Thank you, have tried a fresh install and this is behaviour as of today.

Installed Emby next gen from the Services section of Emby repo.

Pop up appears saying Select Main Server and I can now see my local server listed. Pressing okay when it is highlighted  results in about 30 seconds of inactivity and then the pop up window appears again asking to select main server.

Sign in with Emby Connect - have tried email address with password and username with password. Neither works. Email address with password - error message saying access is restricted.

Manually inputting IPs for servers both local and external also results in 30 seconds of inactivity before everything starts over.

I'll get a log over shortly

How do you connect remotely? Emby connect or manual mode and what"s the issue? Unstable/no connection at all?

I think I also need a kodi.log for review.
