MBSki 1114 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 I had added this before, but it was removed somehow. #62: Add Episode title, season, and episode number under continue watching image.

You see that information when focused. With this type of layout you typically don't use text underneath the posters.

I would certainly hope not. Especially if using enhanced view. It's all up top instead of split between the two places like in ATV and duplicated.

Would you be able to add it underneath when not in enhanced mode? 1

seanbuff 1315 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Just now, FrostByte said: However, if not in enhanced view none of that is available. What do you mean by 'not in enhanced view' ? - I just tested this on .74 and they are there when it's disabled.
FrostByte 5392 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 (edited) I'm only seeing the name of the show overlayed on top of the icon. MBski was asking about the title of the episode, and the season and episode # Edited September 22, 2022 by FrostByte
FrostByte 5392 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Having the name of the show overlayed on top of an icon that already has the name of the show doesn't really help me much either. 2

My 'Continue Watching' row looks like your 'Next Up', ie. showing the ep details under the thumb. I don't have anything overlayed. Is it because you have Next Up Legacy showing? 1

Add it underneath when in Legacy AND enhanced view is off like in ATV. Edited September 22, 2022 by FrostByte 3

It shows up in ATV with the enhanced home screen on though which is the way I think it should be. So it should show up anytime Legacy is used regardless of whether or not the enhanced home screen is enabled as it shows the info for everything in the continue watching row at one glance.

OK, you're talking about whether or not the item is in focus then so you can scan the whole row. Because in enhanced view and Legacy everything is already there in one place only for the episode in focus. 2
FrostByte 5392 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Or, add it on top of the thumb because the show name is already there.
FrostByte 5392 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 I'm kind of with seanbuff though. That's information overload for me when in enhanced view and makes it very busy. If I want to scan the row I'll move the focus when I move my eyes and see everything on top. I don't need to see it on top and on the bottom at the same time.
