Subtiles for Hearing Impaired - color and background doesn't stick

I installed the Emby Server and added the Premier Key.

When I go to a channel, it will appear as white letters with no background.

I go to SUbtiles and set my "settings to Yellow letters with blue background.

It shows correctly. However, when I log out and return later, it will revert to white letters without a background. Do I have to set that setting every time I log in?

How do I make the selections I choose to stick?

Ate you clearing your browsing data? Or you have some addon that's doing that?

The same effect is achieved with the EMBY Client for Windows.

Emby Windows 2.222.2.0

I have the browser auto-clear the cache when I exit the browsers.

Some settings are shared across devices/clients and those will not get cleared. Device specific settings will - subs appearance are one of those. You can either:

1) Not clear cache on exit

or

2) Use a different/dedicated browser just for Emby where cache is not cleared

Good Morning:

I made modifications on my end on my computer and do not clear the cache.

Same issues.

Hi, what changes?

I modified it not to clear my caches upon exit, per GrimReaper, and the issues remain.

If your settings are changing after closing the browser then something is still getting cleared.

I have already set it not to clear at all. The settings are not "sticking"

What settings exactly? Can you try a different browser?

I understand you would like us to solve your problem, but the Emby web app does save some data in browser storage. The "fix" you're looking for is not a problem with the Emby web app per-se, but it's in terms of finding what data is getting cleared due to your settings and stopping that from happening.

In order for us to determine that, the more detailed information you can provide, the better.

I reinstalled the EMBY Server clean and let it rebuild another index on the entire IPTV, and now it is working as it should.
