hamah 7 Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 I’m not sure if this post belongs here or in the Android forum. Please move if so. I’m trying to download the Emby app from Amazon but it shows as unavailable. The Firestick I’m using does appear as a compatible device. is this a known issue? Could I sideload an Android client somehow?
Luke 42077 Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 Hi, can you please show a screenshot of what you see? What country are you in?
Gilgamesh_48 1240 Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 While it "should" be available as far as i know there is another way. 1. Download the app to any Android device. 2. Also download the app "Appstofire" 3. Use Appstofire to copy the app to your Fire stick. FWIW: I have not had any problems like you show and i have the Emby app on both my Fire 4K sticks and i got them from the Amazon app store.
Solution hamah 7 Posted March 28, 2025 Author Solution Posted March 28, 2025 Ok, got it sorted. Turned out To be the Amazon account was set to Singapore. Once set to Canada all is good. So yeah, geofencing?
vaise 340 Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 A user of mine just fired up his stick in Indonesia, and his Amazon account is in Australia. Is this the same issue as he is seeing the same. Hi is trying to use star link to connect.
