richenginner 2 Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 I had an S drive that I mounted with RCLONE. The person who sold me the drive scammed me and locked me out, but anyway, that's a different story. The point is, I no longer have access to the S drive. So I uploaded the same content to another drive, but when I tried to play it, I had several issues. 1. The version that stays at the top is the one that can't be played (WOW, SERVER INTELLIGENCE!) 2. There's no function to delete media that's disconnected (LIKE IN PLEX). 3. I can't delete the media. It seems like EMBY is waiting for me to plug in the S drive to give me permission to delete the broken path. 4. This happened almost a month ago. The server has been fully scanned over and over again, and it still won't fix it. 5. I've already tried manually scanning just that category, but it doesn't work. Can someone please help me out of this mess? I've attached images of the problem. Thank you very much!
Luke 42078 Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 Hi, the delete will delete the actual file. It doesn't just remove it from the Emby database. So that's why the drive needs to be available.
