chjohans 34 Posted March 26, 2025 Posted March 26, 2025 (edited) I have an rpi with LibreElec, which is running Kodi (Omega) v21.2, and I'm using Emby Next Gen version 11.1.24. I notice that the CoverArt treatment from the COverArt Emby plugin is not showing up in Emby for Kidi. And I remember it has been like this for quite some time, but I have not used EMby for Kodi in quite some time either. But I seem to remember that this was working fine in the EMby for Kodi (before nextgen) plugin. Now, is there a reason this is not working in the current plugin, and is there anything I can do to get this working? Edited March 26, 2025 by chjohans Wrong version
Solution quickmic 1703 Posted March 27, 2025 Solution Posted March 27, 2025 (edited) Well, first you need to enable a plugin option. It's located under "Interface" -> "Enable enhanced artwork". This option only applies for new (not cached) artwork. I suggest you clear your artwork after toggle this option. Can be done manually by wiping the Kodi's ../userdata/Thumbnails/* folder or: You could trigger the artwork cache -> "Sync" -> "Cache all artwork". A wizard will ask you if you want to clear the existing artwork and you should confirm that. If you don't want to cache artwork, simply do not select any content on the followup questions. Please let me know if this solves the issue. Edited March 27, 2025 by quickmic
chjohans 34 Posted March 27, 2025 Author Posted March 27, 2025 Thanks. When I enabled that option it told me that changing artwork would require a cache reset, and then proceeded to delete my artwork cache. I now have all my CoverArt treated artwork in Kodi as well. Thanks! 1
