Hi guys, It was brought to my attention that Fire TV users are seeing a couple issues with image scaling and spacing/padding on their TV's compared to other platforms. This is using a current stable-release FireTV using emby Version: 2.1.26a Registered with Emby server 4.8.11.0.

Images/Thumbnails for TV shows & Movies libraries under the "Genres" tab are not sizing to the primary image size like other platforms. They are keeping the tall rectangle shape and adding blank space on the top & bottom of square images:

Home videos & photos Libraries images under the "Folders" tab are creating a large amount of space/padding between images:

Home videos & photos Library images after clicking a video folder under the "Folders" tab are also creating a large amount of space/padding between images:

Thanks. 😺

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Thanks.

@Luke

This did solve the issue on the TV by switching to the other app.

It does solve the issue for her personally.

But the bug does still exists on the Emby for Fire TV app.

Thanks. 😺
