ebr 16169 Posted March 26, 2025 Posted March 26, 2025 Can you please play that item in the Android TV app for a few seconds and then follow the instructions to send a log from the app?

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but I already did that yesterday on the fist log I shared.

You sent a log directly from the app following these instructions? Quote Emby for Android TV/Fire TV and Emby for Roku Logs These apps have the option to send an app log to us electronically. You enter the settings page and turn on the "Debug Options". Now there will be a new option on the user menu at the top of your app home page labelled "Send Log". Quote If you are using Android TV/Fire TV and your problem is with playback, please send the log directly from the playback OSD. There will be an option on the "cog" menu. Reproduce your problem and then use this button to send the log. Then add the following information to your report in the forum: Exactly what you were doing and what happened. Include the name of whatever you played if it is a playback problem The time you sent the log (in Eastern Time please - UTC -5) The name of the Emby user on the local server that was logged in at the time If so, can you please provide the information requested so I can find it? Thanks.

ebr 16169 Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 A bunch of errors like this: 03-27 18:15:27.665 25214 25214 W Choreographer: Frame time is 0.014267 ms in the future! Check that graphics HAL is generating vsync timestamps using the correct timebase. How was this item created? Also, 03-27 18:13:09.764 25214 25214 I System.out: Subtitle tracks found: 43 If you use mkvtoolnix to remux this item including only the sub tracks you actually need, does that make a difference? Seems unrelated but I've definitely seen Exo choking on items with large numbers of sub tracks before.

You can check the log sent from the app 1.- I was playing the content "adolescence.s01e01.1080p.web.h264-successfulcrab-00.00.00.000-01.05.06.464" 2.- 3:12 AM 3.- Terriman

ebr 16169 Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 Okay, well, I assume you already remuxed it since you said you took out the sub tracks so it may be a problem in the encoding and may be related only to that specific hardware. I know you are going to say "so and so plays it" but different players have different tolerances for bad inputs and Google's stance is they refuse to put code in their player to account for incorrectly formatted inputs. They're solution is always "fix the file".
Terriman 1 Posted March 28, 2025 Author Posted March 28, 2025 Ok, case closed, no solution since Emby is incapable of playing this file. Thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted April 18, 2025 Posted April 18, 2025 Hi, can you please try sideloading the latest build and seeing how things compare? Thanks !
