Not sure if this is posted elsewhere but Emby doesn't recognize the aac extension.

It sees and can play the files at a folder level but doesn't assign them to a book.

Hi, this is generated based on the album tag. Are your files tagged with this information?

I don't believe they have any metadata.

They are organized by letter>author>book

How did you configure the options for the library?

I redid the Library, now the books show up properly however I can't resume, skip or do anything but play from start no matter which book in this format I try.

Emby recognizes that I've listened to an hour or so of the book but when I went to resume it started from the beginning ๐Ÿ˜ž

I tried resuming Mr. Mercedes just after 9:30 PM

How did you try to resume?

Posted (edited)

The same way I'd resume any other book? It shows your progress and you hit play.
Other formats work fine just not AAC.

Using a desktop web browser seems ok but Android client has issues (v 3.4.36)

@loracredid the library how? These files are not tagged with any album or album artist values, so that's why they only show up in folder view.
