JDutton 10 Posted March 23, 2025 Posted March 23, 2025 Here is my folder structure: \Music \Artist Name \Album Name 1- Song.mp3 2- Song.mp3 Emby shows the album cover, but when I select it says "No items found". What am I missing?
Luke 42077 Posted March 23, 2025 Posted March 23, 2025 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
JDutton 10 Posted March 23, 2025 Author Posted March 23, 2025 Here is the log file. There are no error messages, just the words "No items found" when I select the album embyserver.txt
JDutton 10 Posted March 23, 2025 Author Posted March 23, 2025 The browser is Google Chrome. I have the same result when connecting from my Ipad.
Luke 42077 Posted March 24, 2025 Posted March 24, 2025 Hi there, can you please show a screenshot example from the browser? Thanks.
JDutton 10 Posted March 24, 2025 Author Posted March 24, 2025 I couldn't get one from the browser, but here is a screenshot from my iPad.
Luke 42077 Posted March 24, 2025 Posted March 24, 2025 But that's a home videos and photos library. I thought you said this was music?
JDutton 10 Posted March 24, 2025 Author Posted March 24, 2025 It is music. I guess I don't know how to set up a music library.
Luke 42077 Posted March 24, 2025 Posted March 24, 2025 14 hours ago, JDutton said: Okay, I'm figuring it out. How many Emby libraries have you created, and what folder paths are added to each one?
JDutton 10 Posted March 24, 2025 Author Posted March 24, 2025 I just created a second library. The first is for photos and videos. The path is /share/Multimedia. The second library for music is /share/CASHDEV1_DATA/Public/Music. I'm not sure why I needed to go through CASHDEV_DATA this time but it is handling the music fine. Interestingly, I am certain that I only needed a single library when I first got into this a few years ago and I could play the music. Has something changed in that time?
Luke 42077 Posted March 24, 2025 Posted March 24, 2025 Music and video together in the same library has never really been well supported, so no, not much has changed. So you're all set now?
