Good evening all,

ok so,

- Emby has been working and has been a pleasure to use and build, thanks guys.

- Tried to access recently and Chrome stated could not reach the IP address etc
So did all the checks, statics, ports, updates, all look same and working fine

- Decided to remove from package centre, and re-install

- Access was renewed, with user and what looked like all data folders and setup

- Clicked Libraries and nothing is there, no media at all.

- tried to add a new library, had this message " There was an error adding the media path. Please ensure the path is valid and the Emby Server process has access to that location. "

- Checked Emby access with Synology Data fodler access permissions, all the same

- With access now, reverted to a recent backup which worked, which then opened up and have the same issue.

- NOT END OF WORLD TO REBUILD as all the actual data is on the NAS drives

- BUT, does anyone have any advice or guidance ? was going to delete the Emby Folder in full, but cant seem to find it, I am not the best with all this.

Hi, this looks like you updated to the 4.9 beta channel and then tried to go back to 4.8. This is not supported and you will need to make a fresh start on 4.8 by deleting the server data folder:

/var/packages/EmbyServer/var

Or you can go back up to the 4.9 beta channel. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Is there anywhere I can get access to the previous versions of Emby ?

4.9.0.42

4.8.11.0

Yes as in your case you have to install 4.9.0.42 or delete your current server to stay on 4.8 release.
