Perhaps this can clear it up.  I am not part of Emby, but I think it's safe to say this embyil.tv has nothing to do with the Emby company. 

The server is managed by whomever has admin access to the server.  Whatever features or email signup is completely controlled by that admin person.  Any code settings, access permission, can be turned on or off by an admin person who has access to the server controls.  As a visitor, who calls up the server, you are only seeing what the server setup allows.  You have no admin control to change, add a user or fix anything on the server.  You are only looking from afar, just like reading a newspaper article in another country's website. Any clickable function, signup or password access is controlled by the owner of the website.  In this case, the website is set up in Hebrew and the domain name is mentioned without the .tv using just  'il', which is an Israeli top-domain letters of domains registered in Israel.

That domain is registered in Sofia, Bulgaria first:

This is not really unusual.  I see it all the time with domain registration of non-standard organizations.

The domain pages are in Hebrew.  The website also mentions Contact info on the homepage mentions a Telegram account, which was originally a Russia software social media site created in St. Petersberg, that is now officed in Berlin, Germany.  I do not wish to list this link here.  You can easily find it if you look correctly on their home page or in Telegram.

Needless to say, this company obviously prefers to remain rather anonymous.  You can conclude what you like from the above information.  I would, personally, not wish to contact or have anything to do with such a company.  I have much better things to do.

So, this is a site which is nothing to do with Emby, other than using their software - they are probably operating in contravention of Emby's terms of service for the software, so you are lucky that anyone here is even trying to answer you.  But we can't help. 

Your best bet is to ask your friend again how he got set up in the first place and do the same.

Or use legal streaming services.
