Is there a way to sort an actor's movies in order of release date?

Hi everyone.

What I mean is, when you select an actor and emby display the movies you have of this actor in your library, is there a way to sort these movies in order of release date?

well, I use two applications, android tv with shield and LG webos.

I was thinking that if it is sorted on the server (windows) it might be sorted in either app.

My question refers to if in a movie one of the actors is selected, when all the movies that actor has in the library are shown, if these movies could be sorted by release date.

I know that if you search for the actor, the movies appear, but not in order of release date, in windows server after clicking on "movies link" these can be ordered, but neither in android tv nor in lg webos there is the option to click on the "movies" or "series" section of this actor, so cant be sort on.

As you can see my native language is Spanish.

In windows server, picture 1 is how it is shown when you select an actor.

If you click on the “Peliculas (Movies)” part they appear sorted in picture 2.

 

My question is if there is any way to make them appear sorted in the same way when you select the actor, sorted on picture 1.

HI, I think on the actor page we could start sorting them by release date, newest first.
