Cannot Chromecast to WiiM Ultra Streamer

Got my new Wiim Ultra yesterday and I can do most things but I don't like WiiM's media player. Emby's is far superior so I would like to cast music to the WiiM but just get the spinner and no connection. I have tried this from my iPhone and iPad. I thought this was possible and was the reason I purchased the WiiM. Is this supported? Is there a further setup requirement, DLNA profile or something? I'm not sure what to do from here.
