Chiisaii 0 Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 I come from China so I may not have expressed myself very accurately, please forgive me. When organizing some movies, I came across a work that is divided into two parts. According to the official instructions, I named the files as cd1 and cd2 respectively. At the same time, I saw the cd2 file in Additional Parts. However, when I use a third-party player (such as Infuse), I can't find where to play the content of cd2. Is there any other good way to watch the cd2 file with Infuse under this naming method? I very need your help, thanks.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 I guess it is more of a question for Infuse but per their own guide it should work the same way. Metadata 101 – Firecore Support

Metadata 101 – Firecore Support But in TV shows, I can creat two file about season1 and season2, and I can choose which season in Infuse. Actually, on the PC, I use the PotPlayer see the movie can aslo don`t find the cd2(part 2). So I think maybe weather if have another named rule in Movies?
Luke 42077 Posted March 22, 2025 Posted March 22, 2025 Infuse probably hadn’t added support for additional parts through the Emby api.

So weather if creat a new way or new named rule to show it for example like TV shows? For example if can named S01E01, S01E01.Actually, like the movie Mission: Impossible or Fast & Furiouswhich have too much seasons. If it could be combined and displayed as a single cover, with multiple episodes inside after clicking, the viewing experience would be much better. It`s very helpful for me if can achieve it. Best regards
Luke 42077 Posted March 22, 2025 Posted March 22, 2025 I'm not quite sure what you're asking? Movies don't have seasons?

But that is exactly what Group items into collections does. But this will assume you have collections data for all your media or have manually assigned them to collections. But have no idea is Infuse honors this feature either.
