Im not seeing this issue in other media server providers at this moment so it’s something within Embys plugin that needs to be corrected.

@Lukethat’s what we’ve been doing since this change, every 24hrs we need to acquire a new pin with Trakt to sync again. 
 

the issue needs to be fixed at its core problem, but having to issue a new pin every 24hrs is not ideal.

I can confirm on this end that issuing a new pin on both a new server, or an existing server (that previously had trakt setup) is not currently working.

It's been over 24 hours since I requested a new pin and so far it looks like Emby is still scrobbling and running the task still works too. Fingers crossed it keeps working, but it's annoying having to monitor this.

Update: 

after Trakt plugin update 3.8.0 and acquiring a new pin after the update, Trakt and Emby seem to be playing nice after the 24hr mark.

I was doing other stuff but realized last night that some things I watched on the 25th scrobbled but then everything from that evening on didn't. Got a new pin last night, didn't work. Got another new pin, ok that one worked.

I need to schedule a daily x2 see if it's scrobbling. Ugh.

Go to your Trakt account and settings and remove the Emby connection, then in Emby reissue a new pin and connection to Trakt. See if this works. 
 

After Trakt plugin update to 3.8.0 everything has been working as intended. (From my experience)
