Guide Data Channels are blank when using Emby Guide Data

I'm facing issues with getting guide data working on my Emby server.

When refreshing the guide it takes about 4 seconds to complete and no data is added.

When mapping the channel to the guide data I can successfully select the guide data source but there is nothing to select under guide data channel.

I have tried using different postcodes and selecting different lineups with no change on the issue.

I have also tried creating a new server but the issue still persists.

I am running Emby using Unraid, I've not faced this issue running Emby on a macOS host.

I've attached the embyserver.txt as well as a screenshot of what I see when attempting to select the guide data channel.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, looks like our guide provider is sending back a service unavailable response. We’ll check with them and see what’s going on. If you try it again later it will most likely clear itself up.

But also if you’re using a vpn then it could be interfering with the requests so I would try turning it off.

Hi, can you please try again? I just tested and it seemed to be working just fine. Thanks.

No i still have the same problem and do not have any VPN installed, I looked in OPNSense and that can see everything going out fine

I Have even reverted my router to its defaults so its just going straight out to the Internet, I also changed from PFsense to OPNSense literally to see what is going on but no joy.

Do they block IPS or something for to many requests maybe?

I'm still facing issues. I've checked the macOS device that was previously working and I am having the same behaviour there.

Neither the Unraid system or the macOS device are connected to a VPN

Hi Luke

still same issue. It was ok with 4.8.10… I have issues since the upgrade (I’m aware that it’s just bug fixes… it may be a coincidence).

there’s any way I can re-download 4.8.10 to re-test with that version? (I don’t have anymore that version of the package)

thanks!

Hi, it's not the server version. We are reaching out to our guide data provider about this. We'll let you know when we have an update. Thanks guys.

I just added GBR-1000118-DEFAULT and was able to map channels and see multiple days of programming.

Same for GBR-1000014-DEFAULT.

Can you guys try refreshing and see if the problem is resolved?

Just to rule it out I tried to connect to

The web address on my mobile phone it also fails so fails over 2 completely different internet connections and providers.

What happens if you remove the problem guide, wait for the refresh to finish, then re-add it?
Does it work properly after doing that?

I don’t think that matters the website is not responding to our queries . Is this a cdn problem or is the server blocking our country or something. We cannot even see the xml in a browser
