nfo files vs. chapter information

Hi,

I recently decided to enable nfo-File handling in Emby, as it allows more flexibility with backups and gives more transparency.
However, since then my chapter API data got overwritten and even though defining chapters there they will be gone, once I refresh meta data.

is there a way to directly add chapter markers into nfo-files?
stating the timestamp and the title should be enough and editing the info-file in an editor would be sufficient as well.

is this possible and if so, where can I find more information about the syntax to be used there?

OK, I can answer my own question by myself; just in case someone else is looking for the same question:

simply use the built in chapter editor within the tool mkvtoolnix and create an mkv-file with all the chapter information.

works exactly like expected!!!
