Remember Field Settings In Table View

I use only 2 views, Primary and Table view. The default Fields in Primary are fine, but I only want Name, Year and Tags in the Table view )usually). If I go to Primary view to look at images and go back to Table view I have to re-unselect the default fields and readd my own. Is is possible to either remember the view last used fields or to make a set your default?? That would save me some time flipping back and forth. Thanks.

PS - I'm guessing you have a reason for them but not a fan of the sliders especially in selecting the Fields.
