Secondary home screen Question

Just Curious if it's possible.

I've looked around to see if I could find any settings to change the amount to a greater limit than 24 (to every media folder i have in the secondary home screen section)  but wasn't successful, I figured it might be worded differently as well, still no luck so here I am, I'm looking to see if I can increase the limit of the icons in the secondary home screen sections such as latest media so One can cycle through ALL of the current "latest added media" because it's limited to 24, any help would be great, if you're not following what I'm say I'll post an image, no worries, I'm to tire at the moment.

TIA.

Yes I just noticed It's now 16, the update chopped it down from 24 :(

Hi, just to clarify, this hasn’t been changed.

Also, you can change the limit in a browser (and only a browser), or of course you can go to Movies/whatever and sort by Date Added. Neither ideal of course.

I think, maybe, the limit is 24 in the old Emby Android app and 16 in the new.

well it's only allowing 16 icons in "Latest" now, when it use to be 24 (granted this is ONLY on the pc side of things in the Browser, when accessing via the server it's still 24), I would be able to scroll at least twice, I sit in front of my system all day editing my server, so what hasn't changed than? it's not that big of a deal Idc really, not trying to argue with you but it has.

This Is what I believe might have happened. Just the Browser on PC side of things.

Hokay, just pointing out that you can up the number on a PC with a bit of fiddling if you want to. I up it to 64 when I feel the urge.

Someone else did this not me, so its mentioned here somewhere...but anyway -

- shut down the server

- find the file homesections..js file. Mine is in the folder C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\dashboard-ui\modules\homesections ........... XXXXX being your name.

- make a backup of it !

- edit and search for '16'. I'm fairly sure there is only one '16'. Looks like -

EmbychangeLatestlimit.thumb.jpg.cec9135e69bd7848f0ea6c9d1de4dc9a.jpg

change the 16 to 64 (or whatever you fancy). Save and restart the server.

The change only lasts for as long as that server version lasts. So any server update - rinse and repeat.

I'm on Windows, no idea how / if this works (or doesn't) for Synology, Docker, Linux etc...

Just tried it and it works, but proceed at you own peril...

Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
