Features Request for Windows App

1. Can we have the player remember the setting for Aspect Ratio?  Current I need to set it for "Dynamic Fit" every time I watch a TV show on my ultrawide monitor as it resets to the default "Fit" everytime I launch a video.

2. Remember which monitor emby opens up (and closes) in.  I have multiple monitors but every single time it only opens up on my primary screen even though I had it last opened on my secondary screen.

This is already on the backlog for the next major update. It won't work in a way that it "remembers" the last setting, because "Dynamic Fit" is not always available (depending on the playback case), so when you play something where it's not available it has to automatically choose "Fit", and then "Fit" would be the last setting being remembered, because at the end, it won't be possible to discriminate user-intent versus automatic changes.
Instead it will be a "Default Aspect Ratio" option in the settings and then it will be applied whenever available (in case of dynamic fit). It also provides more clarity to users as to why things are happening.

That is a bug. It's working fine here and confirmed by many users, so it must be something about your setup which it can't deal with.

Does it fail to work in all window states (windowed, maximized, full-screen)?
How is your monitor layout/arrangement?

Sounds good! This works as well.

Okay, seems like it's ok now after I rebuilt my PC, so I assume it was something off with the previous configuration as well.  Thanks for the response!
