App Update compatibility with Samsung TVs

@Luke @SamES i still have 1 issue I discovered. It seems like after playing on the same channel for awhile, the samsung remote becomes unresponsive. Im hitting the home key or holding down the arrow (back 1 step) button to get put. Once I'm back on the stung home screen remote is responsive again.

Great news everyone. Emby for Samsung 2.1.0 has launched in the Samsung app store for most 2023-2025 devices. Older devices are still in Samsung review. Stay tuned to the blog for the release announcement. Thanks !

I was wondering. I am considering getting a Samsung Freestyle 2 Projector. It runs on Tyzen OS. Would you happen to know if emby is available on it ?

I can't find any information on app publishing for it, or even what Tizen version it is running.  Samsung might just classify it in one of the existing TV model groups, in which case the app should be available, but I can't be sure of that.

If you decide to buy it, please lets us know if you can find it in the app store.  If not, I can ask Samsung how we publish an app for it.

@SamES Looking at the chart I believe the LFF3 Freestyle Projector is in the 2025 STANDARD1 group

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. On the Dev Model group list they have LFF3F as 25TV_STANDARD1. I can only find Freestyle Projector (v1, 2023?) model listed on any Samsung sites, with model LFF3C.  It makes sense that LFF3F would be for V2.  Is it released yet?  RTINGS.com tested a 'Samsung Freestyle 2' but stated it was manufactured in July 2023 and didn't list a model number.  So, I'm not sure.

I'm not seeing any new 2025 Freestyle for sale around here.   I did find the 2025 4K Laser Projectors are ready for pre-order now though.  The LPs will be in the Premium1 group it looks like.

Emby for Samsung has been released in about 20 new countries. If you’ve been waiting on it please check the App Store and see if it’s available now. Thanks !
