JuJuJurassic 49 Posted March 10, 2025 Posted March 10, 2025 So my emby server is working perfectly, SSL, everything's good. But can not I get the on board 2.5GB card working, I've spent ages, but it seems to be a limitation of the kernel. So the solution seems to be to upgrade the OS to Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS. Will this kill my Emby? It's the only app running on it. It uses samba to connect to a TruNAS server's SMB shares. It has let's encrypt setup , but I can't see why that would change the domain / IP etc would be the same. It has a "Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC Low Profile 4G GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 - graphics card" that was patched to release it's limitations, would that need doing again? I suspect so. What are your thoughts? Thanks.
JuJuJurassic 49 Posted March 12, 2025 Author Posted March 12, 2025 that's my question, is.rhere anything in emby that looks at the version and at installation and installs anything particular to that version. If upgraded that would cause problems.
