mattjcurry 1 Posted March 7, 2025 Posted March 7, 2025 Not sure if it is from an update but I have a bunch of files that are downloaded and are in the ~/Library/Containers/com.emby.mobile/Data/Documents folder, but don't show up in downloads in the emby app. As you can see in the screenshot, Banshee season 1 is downloaded but I cannot see the files in emby. It looks like maybe the folder structure changed as part of a release and perhaps there is no backwards compatibility? Still it seems like emby should clean up after itsself if that is the case.
mattjcurry 1 Posted March 7, 2025 Author Posted March 7, 2025 Also, when I go to manage downloads in settings, the old downloads are not there.

mattjcurry 1 Posted June 2, 2025 Author Posted June 2, 2025 This happened to me again. Not sure what the cause is exactly, but I suspect that it has to do with going on and offline without closing emby. When I do that, the option to download shows an empty dropdown where I would normally select the quality. The resolution is while connected to the nextwork to log out of emby and log back in. When I do that, none of the previous downloads are there, but they remain on the filesystem. The only solution I have found is to remove the emby application and re-install it which clears any downloaded files. The other thing that is kind of interesting is if you go to settings ->Devices->Downloads you can see all the downloads that should be there, but aren't.
mattjcurry 1 Posted June 2, 2025 Author Posted June 2, 2025 perhaps another clue. I think somehow everytime you login, it is registering macOS as a new device. Look at this screenshot. Both MacOS clients are the same device...
Luke 42077 Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 @mattjcurrythis should be resolved in the next update to Emby for macOS. We should have that out soon. Thanks.
