As long as you'd be able to disable that, or replaced by a greyed out item per collection, that would be great

Hey, just to be clear. After syncing a collection, and checking missing on the website, there are items in the collection on Emby, but grayed out on the website? Or is it missing both grayed out and in the collection on Emby?

I need to investigate, but it seems this is based on the spelling of either the sort title or original title. Sometimes Emby has issues with that... Also, there seem to be Sync Issues when the collections sort title is edited, might be another reason. Maybe over Xmas I'll have the time to look into that. Edited December 15, 2025 by Dibbes
Amything 122 Posted December 15, 2025 Author Posted December 15, 2025 @DibbesIt uses the IMDB ID, as long as that is correct in the metadata it should be good.

No, I meant this sort title, the one from the collection itself, not the collection members I tried modifying that, as at the moment this is a mess: Edited December 15, 2025 by Dibbes

Configure it on the site, set it to Default and it will just use the default Emby sort name or custom if you want to control it yourself. 1

Hey great addon I like this feature very much. Is there a way to show the missing items in Emby ? I mean, you can see the missing films not only on the website, but also in Emby as grey covers. ?

Not something I want to be doing to be honest. What I can do is give the option of showing Trailers in collections. That would be a pretty easy feature to add. How you acquire the trailers is on the user though.
hspantera 8 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Hello. Still don’t have sort by last episode date added? When I create a collection on acdb for example I want all the latest tv shows on top of list. But for example stranger things was released in 2016. But this last season in December of 2025. And if don’t have last episode date added the last season don’t show on top of latest shows. You still can’t add that feature? Thanks.
Amything 122 Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 I’ve added a new feature that lets you exclude specific libraries per collection. To find it, open a collection you've added and click Edit. 19 hours ago, hspantera said: Hello. Still don’t have sort by last episode date added? And if don’t have last episode date added the last season don’t show on top of latest shows. You still can’t add that feature? Thanks. Hi. The plugin can only use the sorting options available in Emby without workarounds like modifying the sort names of items. I do have the option to sort by Date Added using such a workaround. Would you use it if I add the additional option to edit the sortname based on the date of the latest episodes of series? See here to understand what happens when you use this option.
hspantera 8 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I will give an example. Strange things the series. When I add a collection with the latest tv shows realesed the last season don’t show on top of the list because the series was original realesed in 2016. What I woul like is when I create a collection of latest series the season that is realesed recently show on top of list. And not the date the it was original created. So when new episodes of series are realesed the acdb automatically puts those episodes on top of the list. That is the only thing is missing to acdb to be perfect now. Because working only with latest added dates it will miss the new seasons realease date.
hspantera 8 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 And one more thing. The acdb collections when I choose latest tv shows never shows the latest seasons. Only latest tvshows date added. That’s no good because it’s always realeasing episodes weekly and it don’t show in none of latest shows collections already created in acdb. For me latest shows is what are realeasing now. Not the date of tv show was created. The collections should show and be updated by episode realese. Not by new tv show date added. Because when I create a latest show collection I want all tvshows episodes to show. Not the date the tv show was created. Like stranger things was created in 2016 but last season it was out now and in latest tv shows collections don’t show. So I only see the complete tv show date added. Not the latest season that are being realeased..

supermood 71 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 hi I tried your Plugin with the IMDb best 250 movies collection. first I loved it. now I see that for example godfather part 1 and 2 are ONLY in that collection and not anymore in the goodfather collection. that doesn't make any sense. any idea how to revert that for all my movies? prevent that from happening in the future? I think you should add the info in the description text to warn about it thanks in advance for support
Amything 122 Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 3 minutes ago, supermood said: thanks in advance for support Hey. I don't believe that to be related to the plugin. I've not pushed any updates for a while now and there are no other reports like this. Also wouldn't make sense in terms of what the plugin does. The setting that is adding these movies automatically to collections is an Emby setting. It's a library settings. Do you have it enabled? 1
supermood 71 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 sure the setting is on. this is weird I just checked another one like back to the future and that movie is in both collections. strange because I'd didn't do anything with the godfather movies. anyway it seems and I hope you're right thanks happy day 1
