In the specific case you show (Re:Zero), I made the DC versions a separate show, including [imdbid=tt13906272] in the folder name.  This apparently then picked up details from TMDB (where it has tmdbid=210005). Whether this would work as smoothly now as it did when I added it, I cannot say.

Thanks for the proposal of a temporary decision.
I adjusted it a little, i.e.
I received information to a separate show, as you suggested with imdb tag, and then transferred it as a season folder to the main one, making read-only NFO metadata.
Since if there is a Director's Сut, it makes no sense to have the original first season, and keep them in different shows too.
