darrenkdean 31 Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Will an IMAX Enhanced file, cause Emby to transcode, if the device does not support IMAX Enhanced? ie: Emby is streaming a movie that is IMAX Enhanced, but it is being streamed to a Fire Stick 4K that does not support it. How would Emby server handle this scenario? Best-
Solution js28194 36 Posted March 1, 2025 Solution Posted March 1, 2025 IMAX enhanced is a format i believe, not a codec, so it depends on the underlying codec of the movie. But I run an Nvidia Shield that pretty much runs anything w/o transcoding.
