Danimontes 11 Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Greetings, That's the matter of the question. I'm the manager of the server and I've thought of creating me a normal user so it's safer for me. Actually, I have a huge viewing history. How can I transfer that history to my new user? Thanks in advance.
pwhodges 2012 Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Why not just create a new admin user and remove the admin rights from your present one? And then rename them as well if you want the new admin user to have the old name. Paul
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 You can cross map userdata with the old legacybackup plugin.
bakes82 167 Posted March 2, 2025 Posted March 2, 2025 there are numerous scripts out there that can be modified to do this in python, or you can spend an hour or so and build it out like I did as a plugin:
Mibok 158 Posted March 3, 2025 Posted March 3, 2025 You can try the trakt plugin, although i don't know if could be a problem that the two users are in the same server.

Does that include userdata or just user configs? But a quick test does not include userdata. Isn't currently the only way would be to use the legacybackup plugin? Create user then map to new user per the legacybackup Or as pwhodges mentioned create a new admin and remove admin from current user.
Luke 42078 Posted March 3, 2025 Posted March 3, 2025 Oh I thought user data had been added to that. I think we should. It makes sense there. 1
Solution Danimontes 11 Posted March 3, 2025 Author Solution Posted March 3, 2025 Hi, Thanks for all the comments. In the end, I decided to create a new user with admin features, change the name, privileges and password of my old account and kept it that way. 1 1
