Notification of reboot required/restart as a service

I have emby running as a service on my windows box.

Which means I have to turn off "run server at startup option".  This is a headless node, only used for running emby, so it needs to be a service that starts whenever the box reboots not on login.

However, Unless I happen to look at the setup page as an admin, I have no idea that an update is pending and a reboot of the server is required.

Ideally, even when its running as a service, it would still be able to shutdown and restart.  But if that is not possible, an email notification or some form of "pop up" message would be great.

Hi, yes this makes sense. The server notifications feature might also be of some help to you.

Do you have an ETA on this functionality?

ETA on what exactly? You could setup email notifications right now using the server notifications feature.
