Issue with Emby For Android TV

Hi, I've been facing an issue with Live TV.

80% of the time the channel will play fine for 6-12 minutes then the video will pause but audio continues. 

On the server side it says the client is recovering from a playback issue. 

20% of the time it detects it needs to be deinterlaced and will just play fine for hours. 

So it seems the problem is that its not always detecting when to deinterlace the Live video. 

I've tested the same channel but directly on VLC on my PC and that also showed no issues. 

Is there a way to select to Always deinterlace TV channels or improve the detection?

Hi.  Have you tried de-selecting "Allow Video stream copy" in the Live TV settings in the app?

If your OTA signal is on the weaker side it causes that channel to hang. Even direct play has to go through the server first. Use a third part media player like VLC and it will stop hanging.. Getting a bigger better antenna will also help you out.
