Kanejo79 1 Posted February 27, 2025 Posted February 27, 2025 (edited) Hi, I have noticed an issue with Emby for Android recently where downloaded music files and not showing as the music files and 'showing' as Music videos instead. The files are also at a very low bitrate (0.32). I have the quality set to high (320k). what could be going wrong? Edited February 27, 2025 by Kanejo79
Kanejo79 1 Posted February 27, 2025 Author Posted February 27, 2025 Emby server is 4.8.10.0, android app version is 3.4.36
Luke 42077 Posted February 28, 2025 Posted February 28, 2025 Hi there, can you please show a screenshot example of what you mean? Thanks.
Kanejo79 1 Posted February 28, 2025 Author Posted February 28, 2025 Sure no problem, see below or attached. As you can see it seems to think they are videos but they are not and the file transfer/conversion takes a very short time and does not seem to be converting the files witch orignally in FLAC.
Luke 42077 Posted February 28, 2025 Posted February 28, 2025 OK I think you can ignore the music videos section. We'll get that resolved so that they don't appear there. .32 M = 320k.
Kanejo79 1 Posted February 28, 2025 Author Posted February 28, 2025 (edited) Ok thanks yeah that bitrate number makes sense. I just don't recall it being in that format before. Anyway I thought this was also why some albums would download in about 30 sec and others would take about 5 min but I think I have worked it out, some of it is in M4A format and some in Flac. So the M4a dosen't convert to MP3 but the flac does? Edited February 28, 2025 by Kanejo79

Kanejo79 1 Posted March 1, 2025 Author Posted March 1, 2025 Ok thanks, hopefully the video issue is fixed soon 1
Kanejo79 1 Posted March 21, 2025 Author Posted March 21, 2025 Hi Luke, Is anything happening with a fix for the music tracks showing as video tracks?

Kanejo79 1 Posted April 3, 2025 Author Posted April 3, 2025 Ok thanks Luke, I have noticed odd things which may or may not be related but sometimes all of the tracks (from an album) don't seem to download, so I have to delete the download files and download the album again.
