Music tracks showing as Music videos and not converting to correct bitrate

Hi, I have noticed an issue with Emby for Android recently where downloaded music files and not showing as the music files and 'showing' as Music videos instead. The files are also at a very low bitrate (0.32). I have the quality set to high (320k). what could be going wrong?

Emby server is 4.8.10.0, android app version is 3.4.36

Sure no problem, see below or attached. As you can see it seems to think they are videos but they are not and the file transfer/conversion takes a very short time and does not seem to be converting the files witch orignally in FLAC.

OK I think you can ignore the music videos section. We'll get that resolved so that they don't appear there. 

.32 M = 320k.

Ok thanks yeah that bitrate number makes sense. I just don't recall it being in that format before.  Anyway I thought this was also why some albums would download in about 30 sec and others would take about 5 min but I think I have worked it out, some of it is in M4A format and some in Flac.  So the M4a dosen't convert to MP3 but the flac does?

It would only need to convert if the bitrate is higher than the target bitrate that you set. Otherwise it will just transfer the original file.

Ok thanks Luke, I have noticed odd things which may or may not be related but sometimes all of the tracks (from an album) don't seem to download, so I have to delete the download files and download the album again.

Hi Luke, what is happening with this issue? nothing? surely it can be fixed.
