roberthleeii 61 Posted February 27, 2025 Posted February 27, 2025 I went away from emby for the last couple of years and after having it as my main cable/movie hub at my last house. I am created a new new server on my new Unraid server and i cannot get my movie library to create the auto collections. I have the box clicked to get the collection data in the library and it does not work. I cannot find the auto box sets plug-in anymore. I added a couple of new movies to a collection and it created that collection. it just won't create the collections for the rest of the library.
Gilgamesh_48 1240 Posted February 27, 2025 Posted February 27, 2025 My suggestion is to create your collections manually. Do not use the very flawed auto collection anti-feature. All you need to do is select a group of movies using multi-select and then using the three dot menu at the top right of the screen and select "Add to collection." Then all you need to do is either select one of your collections to add to or create a new collection. I have about 80-90 collections and that is what I did for every one of them.
Neminem 1519 Posted February 27, 2025 Posted February 27, 2025 If you didn't have "Import collection information from metadata downloaders" enabled befor. You need to update metadata for your media, after enabling it.

I had tried to toggle it on and off rescanning the library a few times but that never worked. I ended up deleting the entire movie library and starting over, that seems to have worked. 1
