toch 1 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 After I upgrade the new server WMC, I dont find any channels ? When I open the server wmc/tuners it indicate 0 channels.
toch 1 Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 Here it comes. ServerWMC_1 is the old version, and it is playing. ServerWMC_2 is the new version, and it is "not" playing https://www.dropbox.com/s/11yw7lmovf5lnam/ServerWMC_1.txt?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/8naye3ci96imeup/ServerWMC_2.txt?dl=0 Tor
krustyreturns 191 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 @@toch, In the config.xml file of serverwmc (version 1174) change to this: <IgnoreMergedChannelWithDifferentNumber>false</IgnoreMergedChannelWithDifferentNumber> Then save the file and restart serverwmc. See if that solves the channel problem with MBS. Let me know what you find.
toch 1 Posted November 26, 2014 Author Posted November 26, 2014 Hi krustyreturn It did not work, but I am not sure I include the text in the config file correct. Can you please have a look at the file enclosed, and please correct it If its wrong. I put it in the last sentence. toch https://www.dropbox.com/s/6u2flrd3gyzjum0/ServerWMC_20141124.log?dl=0
krustyreturns 191 Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Hi toch, Sorry, my instructions were not clear. The steps are: 1) go to the debug tab in serverwmc 2) click the button at the bottom called 'Edit Settings File...' 3) in this file, search for: IgnoreMergedChannelWithDifferentNumber 4) when you find it change the true to false, so it's like this: <IgnoreMergedChannelWithDifferentNumber>false</IgnoreMergedChannelWithDifferentNumber> 5) then save the file. 6) restart serverwmc See if that brings your channels back.
toch 1 Posted November 26, 2014 Author Posted November 26, 2014 Hi krustyreturn You are always Perfect. Now my channels are back toch
krustyreturns 191 Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 (edited) Thanks toch. My partner and I want to understand why you had to make this change, so when you have time, change this in the settings file: <Debug_ChannelDetail>true</Debug_ChannelDetail> after you save this file and restart serverwmc, then send me the new log file. After that is done, put Debug_ChannelDetail back to false. The log file will give us info about why your setup needed to have this change. Thanks. Edited November 26, 2014 by krustyreturns
toch 1 Posted November 26, 2014 Author Posted November 26, 2014 hi again Here it comes https://www.dropbox.com/s/44ovlbnkibxf6d5/ServerWMC.log?dl=0
krustyreturns 191 Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Got it, thank you. Don't forget to set Debug_ChannelDetail back to false or your logs will be longer than they need to be.
george 0 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Hi Krustyreturns As soon as I updated to the new version I did not find any channel so I had to do the same in order to see my channels Just to let you know that I have two DVB-T tuners so the channels are identical Do you know what is this happening
krustyreturns 191 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Hi Toch, I need you to post the serverwmc log when you don't get channels for me to understand why this is happening.
toch 1 Posted December 7, 2014 Author Posted December 7, 2014 ok but where to find it ? I have installed 1.0.0.53-1175 to day. Is it one of theese ? https://www.dropbox.com/s/ddbf7vda63j8dz8/SERVER.7z?dl=0
krustyreturns 191 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 The newest log labeled serverwmc.log is good enough. According to this log, your channels imported fine. Can you start MBS and then post the log again so I can see how many channels were sent to MBS?
toch 1 Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 Here it comes toch https://www.dropbox.com/s/44ovlbnkibxf6d5/ServerWMC.log?dl=0
