REPLACE images on library level skipping items

I should say that even when this is globally applied to the library, it often misses hundreds that the manual, per object request completes successfully.

Hi, they are the same process, so there is no difference. It’s more likely that you thought something wasn’t working due to the fact that you can’t monitor progress of it.

Well, apart from the fact that I'm monitoring the log file directly and can watch what it's doing from there. The "library" refresh metadata (and replace images) didn't work for hundred or so series that I'm now doing by hand, individually. That was the reason for the "Replace all Images" shortcut request, it would save me hours of work lol.

Ok so what was the error, if it did not update ?

And what metadata fetchers have you enabled ?

And in what order ?

How is your naming ?

Devs would need logs

@GrimReaperThis can't be FR, more a support call.

Unfortunately I believe you will have to wait for a full scan to finish.  As it to a point does not just do everything sequentially from a initial scan.

I did leave it for a day. I'm not trying to criticize the way the system scans, I'm just asking for the feasibility of including that shortcut along with the others on the poster hover, as it eliminates several steps.

Depends on how larger your library is as some system say they takes weeks for initial scans as reported elsewhere.  I just takes time scaning and probing every item and querying every item from on provider site.  But currently looks normal to me.

I would also use this folder naming for tv shows.

Folder 1923 (2022) [TvdbId=416491]
Adding year and Tvdbid will help Emby search.

Noted, but it doesn't seem to affect the search when executed manually.

Hard to say as it could be in a queue do to other processing happening per your log.

Yes, that could be for sure.

You did not specify if this in enabled in you library.

Since that will slow down every this, a lot.
