richenginner 2 Posted February 25, 2025 Posted February 25, 2025 How to remove old paths from a file? without having to do it one by one? thank you!
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 25, 2025 Posted February 25, 2025 Sorry, what exactly do you mean? As the path will come from the folder you assign to each library. So you remove the folder from the library. If you are moving files to different folders then Emby should see that via RTM if system supported or the next library scan should see the changes.
richenginner 2 Posted February 25, 2025 Author Posted February 25, 2025 Emby not recognize when movie or serie was deleted. how to fix this? i uploaded same movie in diferent or same disk and scanned library enterely but not fix.. only finding each tittle and delete manually.
richenginner 2 Posted February 25, 2025 Author Posted February 25, 2025 I had a 36 terabyte RAID 5 with the name disk E: with many movies but it got damaged and I had to delete it. that raid had 50 categories with different movies in each category I put a new disk called E and there I put some movies and in other disks the rest. But EMBY still kept the old paths and when I put the same movies it generates 2 covers the broken path and the path that does play. The question is: How to delete the broken paths massively? without having to delete the libraries completely? In this case disk A has the correct movie and path E has the broken path. I don't want to delete manually because there are thousands of movies and hundreds of series and chapters Thank you very much!

This happened a month ago and emby has already scanned more than 30 times in 30 days and it cannot detect that the route does not exist efficiently
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 25, 2025 Posted February 25, 2025 Need to see server log and know your assigned folder paths but sounds like a broke database and will require manual edit or new database.
