Photo sliding issue

I have the same issue as reported in the video here

Photos are getting skipped! Its there on my tab, moto phone, samsung and even on ios. I am running emby server on android.

Am i missing some settings in the app?

I even installed emby server on the latest android but still its skipping images, its sensitivity is high when people slide.

Another issue: HEIC image not able to view on android devices. Emby server running on android, but same heic images are broken in emby for android but its viewable on emby for ios! All my android devices support heic as samsung camera also takes pic in heic even that is not able to view! But its viewable in ios.  Tried even beta versions of emby server. Still same issue.

There are many other issues! I will add that once these are fixed.

But for watching movies its excellent! No issues there.

Hi, no, android is a whole other ballgame. We'll try to look at this soon and see if we can get libvips loaded on it.

@Justin757this is hopefully working on android on the beta channel on 4.9.2.2. Can you try that?

Now there is another big problem.

After installing the latest build, video is going to black screen after 20 minutes or so when watching on lg tv webos one! So I hit back button on TV remote and that went to emby home screen, again resumed the video where it went black again after 10 or 20 minutes ! It happened multiple times.

So I thought of rolling back to previous build by taking a backup. When I visited backup and restore option, it's showing it's a premium option.

I am now left with a broken emby that is not usable in anyway.

I think you have to enable that option for beta users or if possible can you offer a 2 day key? So I can take backup and restore it to the previous build.

Only thing that that I did was updating emby server android to latest as per your request, no update was done to emby in lg webos.

Adding emby server log

@Justin757are you still having that issue? Have you updated to 4.9.2.3? Has that helped with heic?

Also why 4.9.1.18beta is not available on github?

I was only able to get a zip file source code with emby not emby server from github.

Please send me the apk for 4.9.1.18beta of emby server.

All new beta ones are crashing 99% of the time.

I updated to latest build from that beta.

Uninstalled all emby and used stable version. Its also crashing.

What else do you have installed on the device? It could just be getting killed by the OS.
