Cannot unlock app on Firestick 4K Max

I’m new to Emby and I cannot get the app to unlock on my Firestick. It keeps telling me that I need to contact my Emby administrator. I’ve tried everything that I can to get this to work and I even purchased the Premier service. They emailed me a code to paste but I cannot find anywhere to input this code!!!! This has been the most confusing maze to navigate and I’m VERY TECH SAAVY. The only maze I found easy to navigate was the way to pay for things that I cannot use. Can anyone help?

Hi.  It sounds like you are not using your own server that you installed, correct?  

As the message said, you should contact the administrator/owner of the server you are using.

I would assume so. I paid for Emby thru my opt service provider and they told me that they have no control over the locking and unlocking of the application. I’ve found no help until I googled how to contact some kind of support or forum. I also paid for premier and I have no clue on how to get either of these tasks working properly

The app wouldn't have allowed you to purchase that. It would have told you to contact the admin so I guess you purchased from our web site?  At the top of the page was another warning not to purchase unless you were using your own server.

Please send an email to billingsupport@emby.media using the same email you used for the purchase and they can take care of it.

There is no longer an unlock on TV devices because we now allow up to five free ones.

Is there a new version of the app that I can side load because the app from the Amazon App Store still requires me to unlock the app and will not allow me to watch any of the content. Says ‘Ulnock not purchased’ and it directs me to a purchase enby premium page, then it tells me to contact my enby system administrator.

There's no app unlock any more - server gets 5 free playback devices and needs active Premiere subscription (standard or extended) beyond that. But it's all done server side, there's nothing you can do client-side. If you paid for Premiere, send an email to:

Ok so they issued me a refund. What do I do now? I didn’t request a refund they just issued it. Is this forum the only form of support for this. I’m going on 4 days and haven’t been able to use this service because the set up process is so confusing and nothing seems to be solving my problem. I just keep getting told what I’m doing isn’t going to work, I can’t do this, I can’t do that. WHAT CAN I DO?!

You can contact those that scammed you out of your money.

If you can't contact them, and you lost you money.

Let that be a teaching experience !!

Emby does not host your server and do not supply media files.
