There is a problem with export. When you export it also sends the data to the TV Platform.  I will fix this later today.

I broke "Select Guide" while adding Playlists to channels. This is fixed in the code below.  I still have a bug in Export that I am working on.  This is an easy fix, I just need time.

Well, I thought I had fixed everything and that was not true. After testing I found other things that were not working. All of the problems were caused by my rapid introduction of code that builds channels from playlists.  Now everything works fine. If anyone finds a problem, please let me know ASAP.

@roormongerYou are right about the export and import. There is a problem. I have disabled these buttons until I figure out a fix. The problem is caused by a simple programming simplification I employed to reduce coding.

The new code is below.  You don't need to use this code if you just avoid exporting.

This version may not populate the EPG -- When I removed the Export, I also remove some code that was needed to publish the EPG

Confirmed, I tried to build a Marvel_DC channel and although it shows all of the content in the channel build section, when I go to the guide it's blank.

Thanks @Jatorfor the confirmation.  The fixed code is below.  Playlists now work fine.  The problem above was caused by an error I introduced by adding the code for Playlists.

Yeah. I didn't realize until it was too late that those couple builds were for testing adding playlist but they had the "regular" functionality removed.

P.S.  I removed "import" and "export" until I can review the code to make sure it works properly.  I changed some of the code around these functions and I need to make sure I didn't break something.

Still getting inconsistent "random" applicability.  Seems like if I add films in several "Batches", it will randomize.  This is because on some channels, my films are spread across multiple subfolders.  However, if I have a channel with all films  in the same folder and don't have to add several "batches", then I get the channel producing in alpha order no matter what I select.

Does it have to do with that? Also have you tried making channels with metadata rather than choosing files? Like, to do marvel and dc movies you could do a search query for the studios. The sports movies channel you could manually add a "sport" tag to each of those movies than make a channel that uses a search query for tag. Would make it easier to remake the channels if you ever need to.

There is a problem with saving and restoring TV Guides.  It works only for TV Guide 1.  I am working on repairing it now.  It's a small piece of code.

I have the problem fixed.  I am changing the Export and Import to save all of your EPGs.  They in effect save the state of your channels. I will post it later today.

Attached below is the latest code.   I added back both "export" and "import."   Unfortunately, this requires you to remove and install again the TV Service.

You can now save all of the TV Guides (EPGs) to a file system and then restore them again at any time.  This is very helpful if you have multiple myTV systems.  You can Export your myTV EPGs from one system and then Import them into another myTV installation. 

I also added more error detection and cleaned up the code. I have fixed all know bugs.

I don't know how to be more specific. When I want to play on LG Smart TV nothing happens, when I want to leave it plays the sound from the movie in the background but you can't see the picture, if the file is hdr then the TV recognizes and turns on hdr but you still can't see the picture and the sound continues to play in the background, I can also leave the player for example to the home page or folders with movies and the sound continues to play in the background. To turn it off I have to turn the TV off and on. The plug-in set to channel from the playlist and from manually selected files is the same. I wanted to turn on pseudotv for comparison but something at my place does not want to work, program not found pops up. I used virtualtv but it annoys me that the videos remain in continue playback and I was looking for an alternative in which you can also load the playlist, because I have set up smart playlists that change every week.
