@speechlesAfter testing again, I've found it works fine when using the stable release of the Roku app but crashes on the beta version.

Log report sent after the crash, sent at 15:47 GMT, I was going into the channel "Action TV" with username "Clint".

@feerlessleadrI have some ideas I would like to share with you. I will have some time tomorrow to put then into written words.

With @pünktchenhelp I made several improvements to the TV Platform. When I have time tomorrow, I will post the new app.

Back in town so will start playing with the plugin again.  Since you have a new one forthcoming, I'll hold off updating until then.

@jator, try the plugin below.

Everyone, I have added importing and exporting TV Guides to your local server or an external server if the connection is SSL.  For example, if you export TV Guide 2, then when you restore it from your server it will restore to TV Guide 2.  Also, included is a starter set of channels that you can load when you install the myTV TV Service. This way you can easily get going with myTV.

To see these features, you must delete the myTV service and install it again.  Afterwards, when you have to reload the TV Service you will not lose your channels because you can save and restore them. You can also load your channels on multiple Emby servers.

Keep in mind that this is beta code and it has not been debugged further than the small amount that I have been able to do.  Please send me bug reports ASAP.

@VicMooreI'm loving the work you do on your plugins!

Couple of things, is it possible to have Emby ignore anything you watch via the channel, in regards the Continue Watching section?

Also, could we have the plugin work with music, so we could create essentially a ratio station?

Keep up the great work!

@NinkomyTV  supports Music and other forms of Audio.  The problem is that I have had trouble with the Emby clients.  I will revisit this problem in a few weeks and test it again. I left it disabled just because it was not working over the range of Emby clients.  It worked fine for the Emby for Android and Web clients.

@VicMooreSorry I didn't know you could already do music, missed that, I'll try that at some point.

If you could look at ignoring media in Continue Watching section that would be great, in your own time though, thanks!

@Ninkofor the moment I have audio services turned off.  I will test them again soon and turn them back on. I didn't think that anyone other than me wanted audio channels.  I use to to create radio stations.

Have you tried the "starter channels" or saving TV Guides (EPGs) ?

@VicMooreSorry I thought you was talking about the Continue Watching problem.

No, your not the only one who would like radio stations.

I tested the starter channels, took a while to process, but then there was 30+ channels, but it seemed to work fine!

@VicMooreCan I also ask, What's the purpose of having multiple EPG's?

Thanks

Thanks VicMoore.  I'm assuming the changes are under the hood or capabilities that I am not kicking the tires on (didn't see anything touching the items I am playing with at the moment).  I'm happy to test capabilities if you identify what changes or additions are made.  Or if I am blind and it's there, just point me to the right place and I'll get lined up.

Played around with this a bit today. Working well for me other than the "Add Logos" button doesnt seen to work. Not a big deal, I can change the logo in a different screen.

A couple things I would love to see to make this more TV like is to disable seeking and the "Next Episode" button that shows up shortly before the episode ends.

Also adding a logic that does not allow the same item to play on multiple channels at the same time would be cool too.

@feerlessleadrI worked on your suggestion and I can implement it only by creating a playlist via the myTV tool.  Would a playlist be acceptable?

@NinkoI have turned Audio back on and you can now create Audio channels. I tried it with music, and it worked OK.  I tested it with the Emby for Android client and the Web client.

Also, the reason for multiple EPGs is motivated by my desire to have a unique EPG for each holiday and a separate EPG for weekends and the days of the week.

The latest code is attached below.

It includes:

1) starter channels are built in

2) saving and restoring EPG data to your Emby server or a thumb drive

3) All Emby media types are supported, except Photo.  This includes Audio channels (built from audio media like music and radio shows.

Yeah that works, thanks Vic!

@roormongerThe logo button only works if the server and client are on the same network or the connection is SSL.

@roormongerAll of your ideas are good ones. I choose to keep things simple.  Even when the logic is simple the debug process is difficult. It's more so when the logic is complex. I appreciate the suggestions.

Do you have to manually change EPG's or can you set what day/date you want it to change?

Thanks for enabling audio channels, I will test those soon.

I have not yet added the code that will enable a specific EPG on a specific day. Yes, you will be able to specify a specific EPG to be enabled on a specific date.
