Random question about emby scanning logic

Have a bit of a random question. If emby is running a full media scan against all libraries, and an API call comes in requesting to scan a specific targeted directory, does emby process that scan request in parallel, or queue it to fire after the full scan is complete?

Just to circle back on this, I could be wrong but it appears the API scan triggers do process in parallel while a full scan is running. Which is great.
