Rhomulus 0 Posted February 16, 2025 Posted February 16, 2025 Windows Server I'm having a user with constant playback errors, who is defaulting to transcoding but only then will it work. In the log files, the issue started wtih s1:e7 of severence, and has been having moderate issues since then. Previous episodes in the same encode had no issues reported. I've removed all bandwidth limitations that I previously had, but even still the individual files are about 5mbps bitrate, and my connection more than supports that. I also had client check that their bitrate is low on their end. I've tried my other devices, tablet and android phone with the same episodes, and they both can stream (and my tv) concurrently no issues and direct stream. Remote client using emby app on an AndroidTv 2.1.23g Projector And still alternates from direct play to then crashing and having stream transcode embyserver.txt

It isn't actually "crashing" but, rather, just having a playback problem and recovering by transcoding, correct? Can you please have them reproduce that and then follow the instructions to send a log from the app?
