User Permissions - Limit Live TV sources

Hey all!

I wanted to see if I could submit a feature request or enhancement? 

Currently any users in Emby I can give them access to live TV as a whole. I'm wondering if there was the abilty now or can be considered in the future to define which TV sources they would be allowed to see/use -> per user?

You can do this in a round about way at present.

The M3U tuner type allows you to add a tag to every channel imported. Each m3u tuner would then have a tag associated with its channels. Using parental filters, you could add the tag for each tuner you don't want the user to have access to essentially hiding the tuner from the user.

HDHomeRun's received a firmware update a couple years ago that allow m3u playlist generation of channels. So this technique can be used now for IPTV, VBox & HDHomeRun tuners. I'm not sure if this can be done with Hauppauge tuners.
